Two Week Wrap Up

Two Thursdays ago, Kai had an allergic reaction & broke out in hives. This picture was day 6 of the hives & when they looked their worst. I know they look horrible, but the only time they really bothered her was in the evening after her bath. I had finally had enough after 3 trips to the dr & several doses of Benadryl! They put her on an oral steroid & over night this was the progress that she made...
Once the Benadryl was out of her system, I took her for an allergy test for the most common allergies. I waited 4 days & called the dr to get the results. She has NO ALLERGIES!! Surprise, surprise... We have our own theory about what caused the hives, but we won't get all chiropractic on you. Kai is really into coloring now. She uses Kade as her canvas a lot of the time.

This is Kade's reaction every time Brock comes home from school. If the kids aren't already in the tub, Kade will crawl across the room to Brock's feet & pull on his legs until Brock picks him up. Kade really loves his Dadda!!
I can't get over how old Kade looks in this picture. He's growing way too fast!!

Brock kept telling me to journal some of Kai's sayings, but tonight I was able to catch some of them on video. When she use to ask for a drink I would ask her "juice or milk"? Now that is how she asks for a drink, "juice milk". We respond by asking her if she wants juice OR milk & she ALWAYS tells us "o-tay". Tonight she also gave us a little "alright" & "ru nak" (fruit snacks). We can't get enough of it! She is so funny!!
